1. NO FOOD OR DRINK IN CHAPEL. THIS INCLUDES ANYTHING FOR CHILDREN.
If your child is hungry please take your child outside to feed. PLEASE TELL YOUR GUESTS ABOUT THIS RULE. Grandmothers may NOT give their young grandchildren "treats" inside of our chapel, unless they want to clean them off of our floor. Ceremonies are short and sweet and everyone is generally out within 30-45 minutes.
2. PLEASE WASH CHILDREN'S HANDS BEFORE ENTERING CHAPEL.
Sticky hands get on our props and decorations and are difficult to remove. If your child causes damage you will be asked to either clean it up or pay a damage fee of $25.
3. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES!!!!
Children under the age of 3 must SIT IN AN ADULT'S LAP. Children over the age of 3 must stay in their seat and NOT wander around unattended. NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED BEHIND THE RECEPTION DESK AND IN THE PROP AREA. This includes older children. NO - it is NOT okay for your children to climb on top of the chairs, run around the chapel, get fingerprints on the windows, touch the decorations, touch the pressed flowers on the windows in the chapels, throw flower petals all over the place and engage in "horseplay" at any time. Small wedding chapels and energetic children do not mix very well. There should be one adult for each child and children should not sit together. The adults assigned to "supervise" the children should not permit children to interfere during the ceremony. If children are talking and being disruptive the adult IN CHARGE needs to take child outside for the remainder of the ceremony. Penguin Park is just 1/2 block away! We have seen too many weddings and elopements ruined because it is difficult for children to sit still. Plan ahead for someone to watch your children either at home or at our chapel. Tell your guests not to arrive early, especially if they have young children. Waiting is VERY difficult and by the time the ceremony begins many children are already in "meltdown" mode. As the mother of a special needs child myself I can speak with some authority here. Plan for success - bring small children in as close to the beginning of the ceremony as possible, make sure they are already well fed, and leave as soon as possible afterwards so they can enjoy the event without feeling overwhelmed. We want your day to be as Magical as possible!
NO RUNNING AT ANY TIME. There are many breakable things in our chapels. If you do not control your child you will be asked to take the child outside and/or pay for the damage your child causes.
4. PLEASE TREAT PROPS CAREFULLY & CLEAN UP AFTERWARDS
We want you to have fun with them and get great photos, but please do not throw bouquets or get wild with any of the props. If you break something due to irresponsible behavior, you will replace it. After use, please return props to prop shelf where you found them and clean up afterwards. Chapel "Clean Up" is NOT part of our service. NO BIRD SEED, RICE, CONFETTI OR ANYTHING ELSE MAY BE THROWN IN PARKING LOT PER OUR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT'S RULES.
5. DISORDERLY CONDUCT will NOT be tolerated.
All guests deemed to be disorderly will be asked to leave. Showing up for your wedding in an impaired state is not only disrespectful to us but it reflects poorly on you as a couple and your sincerity for entering into a marriage with full knowledge and intent. Any resistance will result in police intervention.

COURTHOUSE WEDDING: $100
We will meet you at Clay County Courthouse in Liberty, MO, the Clay County Annex in Kansas City (by Vivion Rd. & Antioch Rd - right down the street from us!), or Jackson County Courthouse in Kansas City, MO (downtown) or Independence, MO to officiate a Short & Sweet Wedding Ceremony, do your paperwork, sign your license and help you get it filed immediately so you can be off to your happily ever after within minutes! We are happy to take photos for you using your cell phone or camera.

2.We have a lot of payment options for our couples' convenience. You can pay for your marriage package right here on our website! You may also come to our retail location with a Money Order, Cash, Debit or Credit card ahead of time during our walk-in hours from 12-6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays or you may mail in a Money Order to our chapel. Cash and Money orders can also be put into our door slot after hours. WALK-INS DO NOT REQUIRE PRE-PAYMENT! Walk-ins can pay with cash (please bring exact amount as we do not have change) or with credit/debit cards.
We will email you confirmation of your payment and marriage booking - please read this email to ensure all information is correct and that we have your date and time recorded accurately! We will also contact you the day before your marriage to confirm your appointment. If you don't hear from us, please call or email us 1 day before your marriage to confirm. If you do not respond to our confirmation we might not be at the chapel for your appointment!
PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED WHEN BOOKING YOUR RESERVATION AND THERE ARE
CANCELLED WEDDINGS MAY BE RE-BOOKED FOR UP TO 90 DAYS AFTER CANCELLATION.
